We remember!

That is the motto of events devoted to the 70th anniversary of the great Victory which are held at JSC Rechitsadrev.

The citizens of Rechitsa wrote the glorious pages of courage and heroism in the history of their town during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. There was patriotic underground resistance in the town. Many citizens of Rechitsa struggled with the enemy in guerilla units. On 18 November 1943 the town was completely liberated from the Nazi invaders. A new era in the life of ancient Rechitsa began – restoration of everything which had been destroyed.

Today, young employees of our enterprise lead by the activists of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union and our veterans planted trees and decorated every tree with a ribbon in the memory of the heroic deeds of the older generation.

Heroes of the Soviet Union I. Dvadnenko, A. Krasikov and F. Trifonov were buried in Rechitsa. Citizens of Rechitsa V. Massalsky and N. Sinyutin were awarded the titles of Heroes of the Soviet Union. Our townsman A. Vasilyev became the Full Cavalier of the Order of Glory. Hero of the Soviet Union D. Valentik lived and was buried in Rechitsa. History treasures the memory of the heroic deeds of the citizens of our town.
